Once you have been up on our Introductory Tandem Hang Gliding Flight at Byron Bay you may wish to continue on to learn how to fly solo. We at Seabreeze Hang Gliding offer a full range of courses. You would start by taking our Restricted License course which teaches you to soar at sites suitable to your stage, such as Cape Byron.

The cost of the hang gliding course is $1800, which includes all equipment and lesson materials. We teach using the HGFA, Hang Gliding Federation of Australia, approved syllabus. You will obtain your Restricted Pilot Certificate which is the beginning of a lifetime of flying experience.

We are dealers for Airborne Windsports hang gliders and equipment. We can help you select your first glider such as the Fun or the Sting. A range of second hand equipment and gliders is also available.

For advanced pilots we recommend the high performance Climax series. The C4 is the latest design with improved performance and handling. There are now three sizes, 13, 13.5 & 14 sq metre, to suit all pilot weights.
